My Mission
Specializing in the business of making people smile. I long to capture the unforgettable memories and over deliver on customer service. My objective is to hit the pause button in moments of fleeting, capturing the most genuine memories, perfect or imperfect, in the most admirable way.
It's inevitable, you can not prolong change or time. Life continues to go on with or without our consent. Some don't understand the value of a photo until it is the only thing they have left of that person, pet, or memory. My mission to capture those irreplaceable moments.
Meet Your Photographer
My name is Justine, a small town girl with big dreams, on my journey to become a successful full time photographer and business owner. I was raised in the small town of Beaumont Alberta. After graduation, I have spent most of my adulthood migrating around different towns in central Alberta, meeting amazing people and creating unforgettable memories along the way.
I have worked a few diverse jobs over the years such as managing pawn shops, asphalt construction, bartending, etc. but I can honestly say that no job I have worked has brought me happiness and fulfillment like photography has. I have an old soul and have a great appreciation for the little things in life.... Deep meaningful conversations, spreading happiness, and enjoying all that life has to offer. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a hopeless romantic and don't want to get married one day. Until then, My focus is to turn my life long dream into my life's reality.
My Philosophy
In addition to being a spunky, vertically challenged, passionate adventurous individual... I most proudly a Pit bull mom to my nine year old girl, Moonshine. When I rescued Moonshine over seven years ago, I was introduced with purpose behind my photography. She gave me all the reasons to hit the pause button and capture my favorite memories with her.
Now I have the privilege of recreating those emotions when I reminisce on all the photos I have taken over the years. Not just the forced selfies, but our first hike, her first time swimming, our first camping trip, her smiles, her surgeries... In a matter of a few seconds and just a handful of photos, I relive feelings and memories with her. The only thing better is the actual experiences themselves, if only we could buy time back. Justine and Moonshine put together is "Just Shine" but when we are together, we.... Just Shine.
